Beginnings

We've been working for months toward beginning our kitchen remodel, and the start day has finally arrived.  This is the starting point.   The kitchen viewed from the adjoining great room.

Looking the other direction from the kitchen into the great room, you can see all of our counter space.  Not enough room for two people to cook at the same time.

This view gives a better idea of the layout.

Here you can see a small powder room which is just off of the kitchen.  Notice the lovely blue tile with blue-grey grout which runs throughout.  It coordinates with the emerald green carpet quite well.
